Remarkable Artists
Red Wombat Studio -- Ursula Vernon The art [and bloggings] of Ursula Vernon.
Shadowscapes -- Stephanie Law The art of Stephanie Pui-Mun Law.

Met him at an art show in Haliburton and had an opportunity to talk with him for a while. Learned so much just in that time. Best I can describe his art is that it feels like breathing. Beautiful paintings.

Resources and References
Visit Portrait Adoption A great opportunity to find one of a kind character portraits. As Ellen says, "Taking the Starving out of Artists". You can find me there too.
Whats that Bug?This is a really neat site for getting reference for various insects as well as identifying some really bizarre ones you may come across.
HTML and CSS tutorials, references, and articles
EMG-ZINE -- A wonderful resource for all artists and particularly those with a fantasy bent. It has an amazing collection of articles and tutorials about the art and business of fantasy art. Be sure to search through the archives.
Haliburton School of the Arts -- Located in cottage country of northern Ontario the Haliburton School of the Arts has a remarable summer program where they offer weeklong and weekend courses covering an immensely diverse range of arts and skills. The environment itself is worth taking advantage of but the courses I've had the opportunity to take so far have been engaging, rewarding, and tremendously useful to me. I highly support what the school is doing with this and only wish these condensed interest classes were similiarly available at other campuses.
Wyndham Art Supplies -- Located in Guelph Ontario they have a brilliant selection of fine art supplies, fair prices and a very knowledgeable staff.
